The planned meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and elected U.S. President Donald Trump in Florida takes place against the backdrop of significant differences in views on peaceful settlement. The Ukrainian leader stated that his points are '90% synchronized' with the U.S., however, Trump immediately warned:
“I have not approved anything. If I approve it, then yes, if not, then no.”Following the meeting with Zelensky, Trump plans to speak with the President of Russia, emphasizing his role as a mediator.
