Today I met with the Minister of Defense of Lithuania, Robertas Kacinskas, who visited Ukraine for the first time since assuming this position. We discussed the defense needs of our country, as well as the prospects for joint defense production.
We also discussed the current diplomatic situation and opportunities for a fair end to the war. I expressed my gratitude to Lithuania, to President Gitanas Nausėda, and to the entire people for their support during the Russian invasion. I also expressed my gratitude for the participation in the PURL initiative, which allows us to purchase American weapons. This support really helps to protect our civilian infrastructure and save lives.

The Minister of Defense of Lithuania, Robertas Kacinskas, visited Ukraine, where he met with Ukrainian colleagues to discuss cooperation in the fields of defense and diplomacy.
