The project 'I Want to Live' has published a list of released Belarusian citizens who are now safe in Ukraine. The list includes 109 individuals who have the option to either stay in Ukraine or be relocated to Poland, Lithuania, and other European countries where their relatives live.

The project's organizers clarified that this is not about exchanging Belarusians for Ukrainian prisoners of war. Russia is not fulfilling agreements regarding the return of wounded and sick prisoners of war who remain in Ukraine, nor does it show interest in returning foreigners who fought on the side of Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the return of five civil Ukrainians from Belarus thanks to the actions of the USA. In total, dictator Alexander Lukashenko pardoned 123 imprisoned individuals. On November 22, 2025, a successful event took place for the return of citizens from Belarus, during which 31 people returned to Ukraine.

Ukraine continues to assist citizens of Belarus and other individuals who are in difficult situations in their country, providing them with the opportunity for safe residence in Ukraine or their relocation to other European countries.
