Nuances of accumulating insurance pension in Ukraine
The Pension Fund of Ukraine clarified the nuances for citizens who plan to resign from work at the end of 2025 and want to continue accumulating insurance record. As of January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Ukraine will be 8647 hryvnias, which will affect the minimum insurance contribution.
The minimum insurance contribution is calculated as 22% of the minimum wage. Thus, to account for a full month towards the insurance record in 2026, the amount of voluntary contribution must be no less than 1902.34 UAH. Automatic extension of contracts
Furthermore, it is worth noting that contracts for voluntary participation are automatically extended until December 31, 2026.
