The temperature in the southeastern part of the country reached 40 degrees, and in some areas exceeded this mark significantly. According to preliminary measurements from HungaroMet, 41.3 degrees was recorded at the station in Sharkaд Malomfok.

Let's remind that Romania is also experiencing extreme heat, which is intensifying over this weekend, July 26-27, peaking in the south and southwest of the country. According to the National Meteorological Agency (ANM), air temperatures reach 43 degrees, and the perceived temperature in some areas may reach 45-46 degrees, especially in urban areas. It is also worth noting that in Iran, local temperatures have been recorded exceeding 50 degrees. Reservoir supplies that provide water to Tehran are currently at their lowest level in the last hundred years, as reported by the local water resource management company in the Iranian capital.

Hungary and countries in Southeast Europe are experiencing extremely high temperatures these days, with heat reaching record levels. Such abnormal weather phenomena require increased attention and measures in the field of hydrological safety and firefighting due to the increased risk of dangerous situations. At the same time, such heat can have serious consequences for people's health and lead to temporary changes in the daily lives of the population.
