Anticyclone Ines brings hot +33°C to Ukraine: when to expect rain and cooling
According to hvylya.net: Forecaster Natalka Didenko predicts warm dry weather in Ukraine on August 9-10, except for some regions. Thus, light rains are expected in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Chernihiv regions, while precipitation is possible in the west of the country on Sunday. All other areas will have sunny and dry weather thanks to the anticyclone that will keep moisture at bay.
The air temperature will remain summer-like, with nighttime temperatures of +14...+19 °C, up to +22 °C in the south, and daytime temperatures rising to +25...+29 °C, with even +33 °C in the south. In Kyiv, there may be a light rain at night, but it will be dry and warm during the day. Monday will be a bit cooler, but warmth will return from Tuesday.
Natalka Didenko points to signs of autumn: 'Yellowing leaves on chestnuts, more teenagers on the streets before the not-so-distant September, sharp air early in the morning... all this already suggests that autumn will be here this year.'
The forecaster urges us not to be disheartened by the arrival of the season, as many warm days, new impressions, and plans await us, giving us the strength to feel just as alive as in summer.
Ultimately, Ukrainian forecasters predict stable sunny and warm weather with only minor precipitation in some regions over the weekend. They also remind us of the arrival of autumn but urge us not to despair and to enjoy the summer days that still have time to please us.
