According to glavcom.ua: Residents of villages located along the front line are demanding the installation of anti-drone nets to protect civilian objects. However, planning this measure is complicated by high costs, organizational issues, and a lack of clear instructions from military and government agencies.

Currently, communities located 40-50 km from the front are forced to invest funds in creating anti-drone corridors instead of glass bus stops. At the end of May, the city council of Marhanets planned to spend millions of hryvnias on glass stops, but due to a loud scandal, the deal was canceled.

«This is troublesome and expensive because we need to cover quite large areas, and the communities, especially local entrepreneurs, do not have the funds for this,» reflects Alexander Solomko, analyzing the situation in the Yampil and Hlukhiv districts of Sumy region.

Local entrepreneurs are reluctant to invest in drone protection, even small businesses. To date, no drone-protected object in the combat zone in Donbas has been observed by the military due to the difficulties and high costs of such protection.

Residents of frontline territories are demanding the installation of anti-drone nets for protection against drones, but so far this initiative faces some obstacles due to high costs and a lack of clear guidance from government structures.
