VAKS confirmed the verdict of the former head of the State Court: 3 years in prison

The Appellate Chamber of VAKS supports the verdict against the former head of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine

On December 2, 2025, the Appellate Chamber of VAKS upheld the decision of the SAP prosecutor and left unchanged the verdict that found the former head of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine, O. Salnikov, guilty of receiving a bribe for influencing the decisions of the judges of the Supreme Court in favor of the enterprise. This means that he has been proved to have committed a crime as defined by law.

Punishment for the former head

According to the verdict, the former head of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine was sentenced to three years of imprisonment with a ban on holding positions in state and local government for three years.

The decision of the Appellate Chamber of VAKS enters into legal force from the moment of its announcement and can be appealed in cassation directly to the Supreme Court within three months.

After the decision of the Appellate Chamber of VAKS, the verdict remains unchanged, and O. Salnikov must serve the sentence according to the imposed term.
