In September 2026, the Italian Supreme Court made a decision to extradite Ukrainian Serhiy Kuznetsov to Germany. The suspect, accused of involvement in the sabotage of the pipelines "Nord Stream" and "Nord Stream-2", which transported Russian gas to Europe, will be extradited within ten days.
On November 11, the Ukrainian ended a hunger strike that he began on October 31, demanding respect for basic rights and proper nutrition. The charges against Kuznetsov for jointly carrying out the explosion and sabotage on the pipelines in the Baltic Sea pave the way for his questioning during his extradition to Germany.
