The Fort Collins factory will manufacture advanced radio-frequency components. The deal also aims to produce around 15 billion chips on American soil. Broadcom supplies Apple with components for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and radio-frequency connectivity, as well as FBAR filters essential for wireless communication technologies.

This agreement marks Apple's largest commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing to date. Last year, the company pledged to invest up to $600 billion in the American tech sector over four years.
