Arab Leaders Now Admit Trusting the U.S. Was a Mistake: Inside the Trump Agenda

Critique of Donald Trump’s Policies

According to ХВИЛЯ: Polish analyst Piotr Kulpa, speaking on political scientist Yuri Romanenko’s program, delivered a sharp critique of U.S. President Donald Trump’s approach toward European allies. According to Kulpa, this strategy is designed to weaken the continent and dismantle its security framework, using threats of a U.S. withdrawal from NATO as leverage. The analyst argued that Trump’s goal is to break up NATO, shed American commitments, and fracture Europe through internal disputes-ultimately strengthening both the United States and Russia.

Kulpa noted that while Washington threatens to leave NATO, it does not threaten to pull out of Europe altogether.

“In essence, Trump is destabilizing Europe and artificially dividing allies into ‘good’ and ‘bad’ to create maximum tension,” the analyst stated.

He added that such policies are boosting Russia’s influence in the region.

The Middle East Situation and Opportunities for Ukraine

Turning to the Middle East, Kulpa highlighted a growing disconnect between the stated peace efforts of key players and their actual interests.

“On an informal level, Arab leaders are now openly admitting that relying solely on the United States was a major mistake,” he said.

Arab nations have noted that the U.S. failed to deliver promised assistance at critical moments, and that American military bases have become sources of new risks.

Kulpa also expressed optimism about Ukraine’s prospects. He believes that under current conditions, there are strong indications that ‘the great Ukrainian ship will navigate through and emerge victorious.’ The key factor, he said, lies in preparing for the post-war period.

“The main challenge is how not to lose the peace and how to properly prepare for the day after victory,” the analyst concluded.

It is worth noting that criticism of Trump’s policies extends beyond military dimensions to encompass diplomatic relations between the U.S. and European nations. Categorizing allies as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ risks undermining European Union unity on security matters. On the other hand, Kulpa’s optimistic outlook for Ukraine underscores the importance of strategic planning amid instability-a factor that could prove critical as the country adapts to emerging regional challenges.

As the geopolitical landscape shifts, the dynamics between key players in the Middle East are becoming increasingly complex.
