Medvedchuk's Real Estate for 123 Million UAH: Who Will Become the New Asset Manager
According to glavcom.ua: One of Ukraine's notable politicians, Viktor Medvedchuk, is losing his real estate in Kyiv. Among the properties for sale are a residential house on the banks of the Dnieper and several apartments in different districts of the city.
- A residential house with an area of 731.6 sq. m. with an adjacent plot of land.
- An apartment with an area of 98.7 sq. m. in the Desnyansky district.
- Two apartments in the Obolon district with an area of 51.2 and 69.1 sq. m.
The estimated value of this real estate exceeds 123 million hryvnias, and all funds will go to the budget of Ukraine to enhance the country's defense capability.
The competition for the selection of a manager started on August 14 through the Prozorro system. The deadline for submitting tender proposals is August 29, 2025.
Medvedchuk's Political Path
Viktor Medvedchuk, a former people's deputy and first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, is accused of state treason and aiding terrorists. He is also attributed with involvement in preparations for war against Ukraine.
Law enforcement detained Medvedchuk when he attempted to flee the country. President Zelensky proposes to exchange him for Ukrainian prisoners of war in Russia. The Lviv court also arrested 154 properties belonging to Medvedchuk and his wife.
Viktor Medvedchuk is selling his real estate in Kyiv, which is valued at a significant amount of money. These funds will go to the budget of Ukraine to enhance the country's defense capability. The politician is also accused of collaborating with terrorists and preparing for war against Ukraine, after which he was arrested while attempting to flee the country. He is now proposed to be exchanged for Ukrainian prisoners of war held in Russia, and a considerable amount of his property has been arrested.
