According to Федерація Легкої Атлетики: The women's high jump event in Heilbronn on August 30 saw Yaroslava Mahuchikh take second place after clearing 2.00 meters on her third attempt. Australia's Eleanor Patterson topped the field with 2.02 meters. Yulia Levchenko also competed, finishing fifth at 1.86 meters.
The men's competition had taken place the previous day, August 29. Roman Petruk placed ninth with a jump of 2.18 meters, while Japan's Tomohiro Shinno emerged as the winner. In that contest, four athletes cleared 2.25 meters, with final standings determined by the number of attempts used. The meeting spanned two days.
