Signing on to the Human Capital Resilience Charter

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: The IT Ukraine Association has officially become a participant in the Human Capital Resilience Charter, an initiative founded by Ukraine's Ministry of Economy and Environment with backing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Folke Bernadotte Academy. During a meeting with Deputy Minister Dariia Marchak, the focus was on how the charter will be put into practice in 2026. The charter is part of Ukraine's broader effort to safeguard its human capital amid ongoing challenges.

Within the framework, the association will contribute through its Digital / IT & Tech Committee, concentrating on several priority areas:

  • shortage of digital specialists;
  • artificial intelligence's influence and job market transformation;
  • supporting early-career and young tech talent;
  • the return of Ukrainian IT and Tech professionals living overseas;
  • global competitiveness of the technology sector.

Inclusivity issues and practical HR approaches to team development will also be taken into consideration.

Building a Stronger Human Capital Base

The initiative is aimed at reinforcing human resources within Ukraine's IT sector, especially relevant given today's challenges. IT Ukraine will be actively involved in advancing these priorities, contributing to the international competitiveness of Ukrainian specialists in the global labor market.

This move reflects the growing significance of human capital in the tech sector during a period of global change. Investing in digital skills and facilitating the return of professionals from abroad could have a major impact on Ukraine's economic revival and expansion. It equally demonstrates how public institutions and private enterprises can work together to achieve common technology goals in Ukraine.
