On the night of August 23, drones attacked the Russian city of Volgograd and the region. The governor of the region, Andrey Bocharov, reported fires and casualties.

According to the governor, one of the drones crashed near a multi-story residential building in the city of Petriv Val, damaging the building's windows and injuring three residents.

Additionally, debris from the drones ignited dry vegetation, but the fire was quickly extinguished.

Mass Attacks on Volgograd

On the previous night, August 22, there were also mass drone attacks on Volgograd. Witnesses report the use of air defense systems.

Eyewitnesses noted that more than ten explosions were heard over the city, drones were flying very low, flashes were visible and the sound of engines was audible. There were also explosions in the neighboring city of Volzhsky.

As a result of falling debris in the south of Volgograd, grass caught fire, but no information on casualties is currently available.

In connection with the recent drone attacks in Volgograd and the region, security measures have been strengthened, and local authorities are working to identify those responsible and prevent similar events in the future. The situation remains tense, and the local population is advised to exercise caution and take necessary safety measures.
