According to Главком: Starting February 6th, applications opened via the Diia portal for a 20,000 hryvnia bonus for workers on emergency restoration crews engaged in repair work from January through March 2026. This financial support is aimed at over 40,000 specialists across critical infrastructure sectors, including:

• Power engineers
• Heating system specialists
• Gas utility workers
• Water supply and sewage company employees
• Municipal services
• Railway workers

The first payments are scheduled to be made by the end of February. This initiative is part of broader efforts to support Ukraine's workforce as it repairs extensive damage to its civilian infrastructure.

Eligibility and Payment Conditions

The 20,000 hryvnia bonus will be paid for each month of participation in restoration work during the specified period. Companies must submit lists of eligible employees through the Diia portal between the 6th and 15th of the following month. Workers can check for a payment notification via Diia after February 16th, with funds transferred directly to their personal bank account.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that 'every worker participating in emergency restoration work will receive a bonus for January, February, and March.'

To apply, companies must follow a few simple steps. First, an authorized representative must log into the Diia portal. An application must then be submitted between the 6th and 15th of the month for the previous month's work. If the company is on the lists maintained by relevant ministries, the form will open automatically. The required employee details include:

• Full name
• Tax identification number
• Job title
• Bank account number
• Phone number

Finally, the application must be signed with a qualified electronic signature; for branch offices, the branch manager's signature is sufficient.

This program represents a significant step in supporting the personnel who are rebuilding infrastructure damaged by attacks.
