Australia joined the Register of damages caused by the Russian Federation: what does this mean for Ukraine

According to hvylya.net: Currently, there are 44 countries and the European Union as participants and associated members of the Register. This Register is the first step towards an international compensation mechanism, which was created according to the resolution of the UN General Assembly and the decision of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reported that Australia has became a new participant in the Register of damages caused by the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. This now opens up the possibility for it to participate in the activities of the Register, becoming an Associated Member.
Australia joined the Register of damages against Ukraine, expanding the circle of countries that support justice and recognize the consequences of aggression from Russia. This is an important step for the Ukrainian people in the fight for international recognition and compensation for the damages caused by the aggression of the neighboring country.
