According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ukrainian car market in 2025 showed a growth in new car sales by 15.6% compared to 2024. Overall, Ukrainians purchased 79,501 new cars. The growth in sales was particularly significant in December 2025, when 11.1 thousand new cars were sold. Compared to December 2024, sales in this month increased by 113.1%, and compared to November 2025 - by 43.3%.

Popular cars and Ukrainian production

Among the cars that became the most popular in 2025, the leader was the Chinese brand BYD, which surpassed Toyota. The leading models were:

• Renault Duster
• Toyota RAV4
• BYD Song Plus
• Zeekr 7X
• Volkswagen ID.Unyx

Among the newcomers in the TOP-10, it is worth noting BYD Song Plus, Zeekr 7X, and Volkswagen ID.Unyx.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian production occupies only 2% of the market, which amounts to 1,827 cars. The absolute leader of Ukrainian production became the Skoda Karoq crossover, produced in the amount of 938 units. In 2025, the following were also registered:

• 793 Porsche
• 26 Rolls-Royce
• 20 Bentley
• 2 Lamborghini

This indicates the diversity of the automotive market in Ukraine.
