Azerbaijan Sends Generators to Ukraine in 'Warmth for Ukraine' Initiative

According to ДСНС: The Republic of Azerbaijan has provided Ukraine with generators and other essential equipment as part of the 'Warmth for Ukraine' campaign. The handover ceremony was attended by the Head of Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES), Andrii Daniko, and Ukraine's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan, Yurii Husiev. This assistance is intended to support Ukrainian rescue workers in their daily operations, which have become critically important since the full-scale invasion.
The Significance of International Support
In his address, Ambassador Yurii Husiev underscored the importance of this aid, stating:
“We thank all emergency workers for saving people's lives! For providing warmth and helping to restore power. This aid from caring people and organizations in Azerbaijan, for which we are very grateful, was mobilized within the global 'Warmth for Ukraine' campaign initiated by Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, and represents another vital demonstration of solidarity with Ukraine during these challenging times.”
Andrii Daniko also expressed gratitude for the provided assistance, noting that 'we sincerely thank you for this timely and necessary aid! The supplied equipment is of paramount importance for the daily work of our rescuers and will help protect the lives and safety of citizens even more effectively.' During the ceremony, potential avenues for further cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in the fields of civil protection and emergency response were also discussed.
