The banker predicted the dollar exchange rate until mid-August 2026

By August 9, the cash dollar in Ukraine may hold in the range of 44.8-45 UAH, while the euro may be between 51-51.5 UAH. The situation will be influenced by supply and demand in the foreign exchange market, as well as the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks. This was stated by Taras Lesoviy, director of the financial markets department of 'Globus Bank', in a comment to UNIAN.

According to Lesoviy's forecast, the dollar will be trading in the interbank market within the range of 44.6-45.2 UAH. In bank cash registers and exchange offices, a range of 44.8-45 UAH per dollar is expected.

Thus, 100 dollars may cost from 4480 to 4500 UAH, while for 1000 dollars one will have to pay 44,800-45,000 UAH.

The banker does not expect a mass transition of the population to the American currency. According to his estimates, the situation in the foreign exchange market will remain controlled, although military risks will continue to influence market participants' sentiment.

Euro exchange rate in Ukraine until August 9: how much will 100 euros cost

The euro on the interbank market, according to the expert's assessment, may cost 50.8-51.5 UAH. The cash rate is expected in the range of 51-51.5 UAH per euro.

Accordingly, 100 euros will cost from 5100 to 5150 UAH, while 1000 euros will be from 51,000 to 51,500 UAH.

The vice president of the Ukrainian Banks Association and chairman of the board of 'Globus Bank', Serhiy Mamedov, predicts that throughout August, the dollar will mainly be in the range of 44.7-45.7 UAH, while the euro will be between 51-52.5 UAH.

Under the basic scenario, no sharp and uncontrollable fluctuations in the exchange rate are expected in August. At the same time, the forecast is not a guarantee: cash rates in different banks and exchange offices may vary.
