Without a passport and exams: admission simplified for some prospective students
The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development has announced special admission conditions for applicants from temporarily occupied territories. This will allow young people to receive quality education, regardless of complex life circumstances.
Changes in the admission rules imply that applicants from TOT, who left these territories, do not need to have the standard package of documents for admission. They no longer need to pass the ZNO or NMT. It is enough to have a birth certificate if there is no Ukrainian passport.
During the admission campaign, students from TOT are guaranteed anonymity and full support. Universities will provide them with housing in dormitories and financial assistance in the form of scholarships. They will also assist with legalizing their status and adapting to the Ukrainian educational environment.
Let us not forget that the admission campaign for vocational schools is ongoing in Ukraine.
The government is taking measures to ensure that applicants from TOT have the opportunity to receive a quality education in Ukrainian universities without complicating their already difficult lives. Changes in admission conditions contribute to a simpler and more accessible learning process for this category of applicants, allowing them to realize their potential more easily.
