Over 5 million euros: the highest-paid footballers in Ukraine named in 2026
In the 2026/2027 season, more than ten Ukrainian footballers will be playing in top European leagues. Salaries of the highest-paid legionnaires exceed 5 million euros per year, with PSG defender Ilya Zabarnyi leading the ranking. This is reported by 24 Kanal.
Previously, the highest salary among Ukrainian legionnaires was held by Oleksandr Zinchenko - around 8 million euros per year. He is currently a free agent and is therefore not included in the ranking.
Who are the highest-earning Ukrainian footballers in the 2026/2027 season
The first place is taken by Ilya Zabarnyi. After moving from Bournemouth to PSG, the defender's annual salary is estimated at 5.45 million euros before taxes.
The second position is occupied by Mykhailo Mudryk with a base salary of around 5.2 million euros per year. Including bonuses, his income could potentially reach 6.7 million euros.
Third in the ranking is Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin with a salary of 4.58 million euros per year. Following him are Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin with 3.85 million euros and Bologna forward Artem Dobrik with 3.7 million euros.
