Bitcoin Surpasses $100,000 Price Mark
Bitcoin exceeded the $100,000 mark on the stock market, leading to increased demand for risky assets, and this is the first time in two weeks.
According to Bloomberg, the price of the original cryptocurrency reached $102,504 on Monday, which is an increase of 4.1%. The weekly growth of Bitcoin was 5.66%, marking the highest figure since November 24.
At the beginning of December last year, the price of Bitcoin hit an all-time high of $108,315. However, its growth then halted as investors sought to lock in their profits.
The shift in the situation occurred because on Friday, investors poured $908 million into U.S. exchange-traded funds trading Bitcoin. This amount became the fifth-largest inflow for the group since their inception in January 2024. Previously, these funds recorded a record outflow of $680 million on December 19.
