Businesses in High-Risk War Zones Lead in Receiving Loans Through the 5-7-9% Affordable Credit Program

Entrepreneurial Lending via the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” Initiative

According to Мін. Економіки: Last week, entrepreneurs secured 521 new loans totaling 1.79 billion UAH under the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program. The most significant share of these funds-692 million UAH or 38.6%-was directed toward businesses operating in areas with elevated war risks. This program plays a key role in supporting manufacturers as part of the broader "Made in Ukraine" development policy.

Since the beginning of this year, a total of 27,500 loans amounting to 121.3 billion UAH have been issued through the program. The largest financing volumes have been allocated to:

• businesses located in high-risk war zones – 41.7 billion UAH
• processing enterprises – 30.8 billion UAH
• investment projects – 19.5 billion UAH

In 2026 alone, companies received 973 energy loans with a 0% interest rate, totaling 1.4 billion UAH.

Since the program's launch in February 2020, businesses have obtained 162,500 loans worth 583.3 billion UAH. Of these, 127,700 loans valued at 493.7 billion UAH were granted during martial law.

The increasing loan volumes, especially in conflict-affected zones, highlight entrepreneurs’ determination to rebuild and grow their ventures despite challenging circumstances. The “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program remains a vital support mechanism for Ukrainian businesses, fostering economic resilience amid ongoing crises.
