An Innovative Way to Automate Meeting Women

According to НВ — Техно: On July 2, 2026, TechCrunch covered content creator Ben Gez’s novel use of artificial intelligence to automate finding romantic partners. He combined the AI agent OpenClaw with the Claude Code tool and Instagram trial reels. OpenClaw monitors World Cup match results, then Claude generates videos following a template in which Gez looks sadly out a window, offering emotional support to women from losing countries.

Within a few days, the videos Gez posts have garnered over one million views and 200 messages. He uses the same caption each time, only swapping out the name of the defeated nation. In his profile bio, Gez states he only replies through his own language-learning app, Canary.

Ethical Considerations of Using Technology

Separately, another OpenClaw user, Jeff Weisbein-founder of a tech PR firm-also employs this AI agent, but to scout date locations in South Florida. Weisbein commented that he would not trust AI to communicate with women.

“We’ve all heard stories about OpenClaw creating dating profiles for people without their knowledge or consent.” - Laser Cohen, co-founder of NanoClaw

Ben Gez, for his part, defended his automation approach: “I think it’s crazy, the potential right now is just insane. I’m not sure everyone will think this is good, but, you know, it works.”

This case highlights how AI technologies can reshape traditional methods of communication and dating, sparking both excitement and concern in society. It is important to consider the ethical implications of using such tools, as they can affect privacy and mutual understanding between people. Discussions about AI’s role in everyday life are becoming increasingly relevant, given its rapid development and integration into various areas, including social interactions.

As the integration of AI into dating continues to evolve, it's crucial to reflect on the potential risks associated with these technologies. In a recent discussion, the co-founder of Wikipedia cautioned against over-reliance on artificial intelligence, emphasizing the need for critical thinking regarding privacy and consent. This conversation underscores the importance of balancing innovation with ethical considerations in the realm of relationships.
