The court in Astrakhan has arrested a blogger who assaulted a famous handball coach

According to glavcom.ua: The Astrakhan District Court of Russia has decided to arrest the suspect in the assault of the head coach of the local handball club 'Dynamo' for two months. According to 'Glavkom', the incident occurred after practice when a car driver attacked the coach during a road incident.

Head Coach Georgy Zaikin was hospitalized with a traumatic brain injury sustained during the conflict. He has been leading the Astrakhan team since 2024 and has significant experience in sports. Investigative actions are ongoing regarding this case, which has shocked handball fans in the region.
