Boris Johnson, in an interview with Dmytro Gordon, talked about NATO's readiness to respond to a Russian tank invasion of Poland. He noted that the Alliance would respond decisively to any real invasion of a member state's territory and considers such a move a catastrophe.

The Prime Minister also commented on the incident with the drones that flew towards Poland. He remarked that the downing of all 19 drones was successfully completed without casualties. Johnson emphasized that NATO is a defensive alliance created to protect its members and has no intention of war, thus does not attack Russian cities.

'NATO is a defensive alliance. Its task is to defend 28 or 29 member countries. It was not created for waging war. If Putin had sent tanks into Poland, the situation would be different. In the case of a real invasion, NATO has grand plans to stop the attack,' Johnson emphasized.

In the interview, Boris Johnson conveyed an important message about NATO's readiness to respond to a possible invasion of Poland and stressed that the Alliance has plans and resources to stop such threats.
