Boris Johnson on Russia's invasion of Poland: NATO is ready for terrible things

Johnson emphasized that NATO is a defensive alliance created to protect its members and has no intention of war, thus does not attack Russian cities.

'NATO is a defensive alliance. Its task is to defend 28 or 29 member countries. It was not created for waging war. If Putin had sent tanks into Poland, the situation would be different. In the case of a real invasion, NATO has grand plans to stop the attack,' Johnson emphasized.
