According to hvylya.net: Recently, it became known that the deputy head of the Lviv Regional Trade and Commercial Complex and warehouse management is suspected of not including a house and a land plot in his declaration. As employees of the State Bureau of Investigation found out, he transferred this property to his mother-in-law's name, although he and his family were using these objects for living. The estimate of this undeclared property exceeds 6 million UAH.

'In 2023-2024, the official intentionally did not declare 0.025 ha of land and a residential building with an area of 139 sq. m. in the Lviv region, built on this plot. The objects were registered in the name of the mother-in-law, but were actually used by the declarant and his family members as a place of residence. The total value of the undeclared property exceeds 6 million UAH,' the SBI reported.

It was also discovered that there are doubts about the origin of the official's assets, as their income does not correspond to the real value of the real estate. At the request of the SBI, the National Agency for Corruption Prevention has started a thorough audit of the lifestyle of this manager.

'The SBI is also checking information regarding an undeclared Mersedes car registered in the name of the official's father. In fact, the relative's income does not confirm the ability to acquire such a vehicle. The colonel bought the car in 2021 while serving as the commander of one of the military units. The approximate value of the car is 18 thousand US dollars,' the Bureau reported.

Currently, the suspect's property is under judicial arrest, and he has been notified of suspicion of providing false information in his declaration. Under this status, penalties in the form of restriction of liberty and deprivation of the right to hold certain positions may occur.
