Odesa region leads in housing construction rates: growth of 56%
New regional leaders in housing construction turned out to be the Odesa and Cherkasy regions. Odesa region demonstrated an impressive increase, having built 6,570 apartments, which is 56% more than in the previous year. This success is explained by the demand for coastal real estate, the influx of capital into housing projects, and the return of internally displaced persons.
Cherkasy region also showed impressive growth in housing construction - by 51.6%, from which 1,126 new apartments emerged. Significant growth was also noted in Mykolaiv (35.8%), Chernihiv (24.4%), and Ternopil (23.7%) regions.
At the same time, Kyiv region remains the absolute leader in the number of new housing units, having built 9,853 apartments, while Kyiv saw 7,380 new apartments, and Lviv region ranked third with 5,646 apartments.
Trends in the real estate market indicate relative stability with slight fluctuations in demand. Attractive offers from developers are becoming rarer, and the reasons for such changes remain unknown.
Rental prices for housing in Ukraine continue to rise, and this phenomenon is also persistent in the real estate market.
