Budget-2026: 100% of internal revenues will be directed to the country's defense

The adopted Law of Ukraine on the State Budget for 2026 confirms that the main focus of the state this year is security and defense. All revenues and borrowings collected by the country will be directed to support defense capabilities: from the monetary provision of the military to the development of strategic reserves. This is reflected in the financial figures: Ukraine allocates almost 60% of all budget funds for these purposes.

Among the specific budget items, expenditures for the monetary provision of servicemen, procurement of weapons and equipment, other defense areas, as well as a reserve for emergencies can be highlighted. In addition, guarantees for enterprises producing defense equipment and investments in the development of defense production are provided.
