Accountants in Action. How Many Financial Reports Women Submitted Last Year

In 2024, Ukrainian companies submitted nearly half a million financial reports. Only half of them specified the names of the accountants who prepared them, and these names belong to women 69% of the time. This information was published by the portal 'Opendatabot' based on data from the State Statistics Service, as reported by 'Glavkom'.According to this data, 242,329 reports out of half a million contain the name of an accountant. Women dominate among those responsible for preparing financial reports in Ukrainian companies. These figures stand out against the backdrop of the celebration of Accountant's Day on July 16, which was established in 1999 in connection with the adoption of the law on accounting and financial reporting in Ukraine.
