Now, growing four to five plants will be considered an offense. Growing more than five plants or storing more than 200 g of cannabis at home is already a serious crime. Meanwhile, changes are also happening in Ukraine regarding cannabis, where a system for the legal turnover of medical cannabis is being created.

The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, signed an amendment to the Criminal Code that significantly relaxes the rules on the cultivation and storage of cannabis. Citizens of the Czech Republic are now allowed to grow up to three cannabis plants for personal use and store up to 100 g of cannabis at home or 25 g outside.

Permission has been granted for the importation into Ukraine of the medical cannabis substance registered in Ukraine and included in the State Register of Medicinal Products. In addition, the total number of registered enterprises operating with hemp for industrial purposes in Ukraine has reached 38.

In the Czech Republic, significant changes in the legal turnover of cannabis provide citizens with greater freedom in cultivating and storing this plant for personal needs. At the same time, positive trends are also observed in Ukraine regarding medical cannabis, indicating a gradual development of legislation on this topic.
