According to Главком: Current European U23 javelin champion Artur Felfner opened his international summer season with a third-place finish at the Josef Odložil Memorial in Prague, Czech Republic, throwing 80.27 meters. This competition marked his first international appearance of the season and his fourth overall this year. Earlier in May, the athlete began his summer campaign by winning the national championship with a throw of 76.88 meters.

Competition Results and Achievements

At the Josef Odložil Memorial, Felfner recorded 79.37 meters on his first attempt and reached 80.27 meters on his third, securing a top-three finish. The event was won by South Africa's Douw Smith with a throw of 83.09 meters, while Czech athlete Martin Konečný took second place at 81.12 meters.

The year has started well for Felfner, who previously won the Ukrainian Winter Cup in throws with a result of 78.55 meters. Last season, he placed second at the European Team Championships in Madrid with 80.54 meters and successfully defended his European U23 title with a throw of 81.14 meters. Felfner also claimed his third senior national championship with 80.70 meters but was eliminated in the qualification round at the World Championships in Tokyo, managing 76.13 meters.
