Більшість жінок в США обиратимуть незалежне життя: які наслідки матиме SHE-економіка?

According to forecasts by Morgan Stanley analysts, by 2030, 45% of women aged 25 to 44 in the USA will live without a partner and children. This data was published in Body and Soul.

Experts call this phenomenon the beginning of the 'SHE-economy' - a new stage where women become key factors in economic development. According to Morgan Stanley's chief economist Ellen Zentner, motherhood is one of the main reasons for the gender pay gap, as many mothers are forced to reduce their working hours or even leave the workforce.

Among the factors influencing this new trend, experts highlight rising prices, economic instability, the desire for education and career growth, as well as opportunities opened up by scientific and medical advancements. More and more women are becoming homeowners and business owners, while some choose to forgo having a partner or even motherhood altogether. Single women already control over $7 trillion in consumer spending in the USA and make key purchasing decisions in 72% of households.

According to analysts, an increasing number of women in the USA are choosing to live without a partner and children, focusing on their careers, financial independence, and personal development. This trend is already transforming women into important players in the social and economic life of the country.
