Will there be power shutdown schedules in Ukraine on November 25

In Ukraine on November 25, round-the-clock power shutdown schedules will be in effect. Ukrenergo reports that restrictions are being implemented in all regions due to the consequences of massive missile and drone attacks that damaged energy facilities. The hourly shutdown schedules will operate from 00:00 to 23:59. According to Informator.

According to the company, the load on the grid remains unstable, so the number of queues may vary from 0.5 to 2.5 depending on the region. Separate capacity restrictions will also apply to the industry. Ukrenergo emphasizes that the volumes and duration of shutdowns may change throughout the day, so Ukrainians are advised to monitor the updated schedules in their regional power supply companies. After power is restored, consumers are recommended to use electricity sparingly.

Shutdown schedules for November 25: what we know

The company warns that the level of restrictions will depend on the state of the grid and consumption. Even with a general plan, adjustments may occur due to emergencies or imbalances. In some regions, different queues may operate simultaneously, which is a forced measure for stabilizing the energy system.

Energy system of Ukraine: situation before

On November 24, hourly shutdowns were also in place across the country - from 0.5 to 3 queues depending on the region. According to Ukrenergo, the load was partially balanced thanks to the maximum output of Ukrainian nuclear power plants. At the same time, the distribution of restrictions remains uneven, as it is currently impossible to fully transfer the load between regions. The company emphasizes that the energy system operates under difficult conditions, so changes to the schedules may happen at any moment.

• Plan your household appliance usage according to the queues
• Save electricity after power restoration.
