The information about the spread of locusts in Ukraine is currently quite alarming. According to experts, the Egyptian and migratory locusts are actively spreading in the country, particularly in its southern regions. The situation is serious, as the use of pesticides leads to a decrease in the natural enemies of these insects, which in turn promotes their population growth.

Scientist Viktor Brihadirenko emphasizes that careless pesticide use may become the cause of serious ecological problems. It is necessary to pay attention to this problematic aspect and seek more effective ways to regulate the population of locusts, which at the moment are quite undesirable in the specified regions of Ukraine.

They say that locust outbreaks in Ukraine are a result of careless pesticide use that not only kills harmful insects but also leads to a decrease in the natural enemies of locusts. This can result in serious ecological problems and therefore requires urgent measures to regulate the situation.
