According to Главком: As of March 16, 2026, average fuel prices have been recorded across Ukraine, with data showing price movements for different fuel types at gas station networks. The average price for A-95 gasoline stands at 69.62 UAH per liter, while the average cost of diesel fuel has reached 76.35 UAH per liter. According to information published by the outlet Glavcom, diesel fuel at some stations has become cheaper by 1-2 UAH per liter, and autogas has dropped in price by 1 UAH per liter. These prices are significant for household budgets and business operations across the country.
Price Trends and Official Commentary
Price tables for gas station networks highlight both the most expensive and the cheapest offers. The most expensive A95 gasoline is offered at Okko, WOG, and Socar stations, while the cheapest A95 gasoline can be found at BRSM-Nafta stations. Regarding diesel, the highest prices are recorded at Klo stations, and the lowest cost for diesel is offered at BRSM-Nafta stations.
The cost of oil on global markets has also shifted; for the first time since 2022, it has surpassed the $100 per barrel mark. The price of Brent crude oil reached $104, and futures for American oil jumped by 14.7%. Fuel expenses constitute 10-15% of the cost structure for agricultural production.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that 'the authorities will try to restrain the rise in gasoline prices'.
Additionally, Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko reported that citizens will be able to receive cashback from the state when purchasing fuel at gas stations. In turn, Taras Vysotskyi noted that in the event of an increase in fuel costs, prices for agricultural sector products could rise by no more than 1-2%.
