Land prices in Ukraine have increased: where are the most expensive plots
According to hvylya.net: The land market in Ukraine is developing and demonstrating stable trends. Since July 2021, more than 339 thousand transactions have been made for a volume of over 636 thousand hectares of land worth more than 30 billion hryvnias. The average price per hectare is rising and currently stands at around 60.7 thousand hryvnias.
Since the beginning of 2024, the market has also opened up for business, but the expected increase in sales has not occurred. Prices per hectare fluctuate within 43-52 thousand hryvnias. The highest land prices are observed in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where the average cost per hectare has already exceeded 126 thousand hryvnias, while on the lowest level prices are in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
According to data for the first half of 2025 compared to the initial period of land market operations, the number of concluded transactions increased by 13%, and the transaction amount even tripled, reaching nearly 8.22 billion hryvnias
Market stabilization is noted in Ukraine, but prices continue to rise and vary across different regions of the country.
