Rescuers Condemn Man for Transporting Missile on Commuter Train

According to Главком: A man in the Dnipropetrovsk region discovered an interceptor missile near the village of Kalynivka, where it was found in a body of water. He then transported it himself to Vilnohirsk, traveling two stops on a commuter train to the city's railway station. Upon arrival, he placed the missile on a brick fence near a store before contacting emergency services on lines 101 and 102. This incident highlights the ongoing dangers of unexploded ordnance in parts of Ukraine.

The head of the 52nd State Fire and Rescue Unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region, Lieutenant Colonel of Civil Defense Service Denys Silenko, strongly condemned these actions as extremely dangerous. He emphasized that a civilian cannot know if a found object contains a live warhead, a determination that can only be made by explosive ordnance disposal specialists.

He also stressed the critical importance of following safety rules upon discovering suspicious items:
