Chortkiv and Sataniv Become Partners: What the Agreement Between the Cities Entails

On September 4, the day of the 503rd anniversary of Chortkiv, the city officially gained another partner – the village of Sataniv in Khmelnytskyi region. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referring to the Chortkiv City Council.

The partnership agreement was solemnly and officially signed by the mayor of Chortkiv, Volodymyr Shmatko, and the village head of Sataniv, Albert Sobkov. Preliminary, the decision on the fraternity was made by the deputies of the Chortkiv City and Sataniv Village Councils.

“And although the very name 'Chortkiv + Sataniv' sounds epic, we sincerely hope that this cooperation will be as effective in practice as it is impressive in name!” – the local authorities said in the statement.

The partnership is expected to foster cooperation in economy, education, medicine, sports, culture, and tourism.

The city council added that many delegations from sister cities and partners arrived in Chortkiv for the celebration of its anniversary.

Sataniv - a Tourist Paradise
