Diesel Prices Surpass 100 UAH per Liter at Four Fuel Chains, No Shortages Expected

According to 5 канал — Економіка: Four major fuel station chains in Ukraine have recently raised diesel prices beyond 100 UAH per liter. At Socar stations, standard diesel now costs 103 UAH per liter, while Neftek prices it at 101 UAH per liter. Premium diesel prices have also increased, with Socar charging 104 UAH per liter and Neftek 102 UAH per liter. WOG and OKKO stations offer premium diesel at 102.9 UAH per liter.

The highest price recorded for regular diesel among these networks is 103 UAH per liter, and premium diesel reaches up to 104 UAH per liter. Despite damage to 16 fuel stations in Kyiv caused by Russian attacks, the capital’s fuel market remains stable, and no shortages are anticipated.

Reasons Behind Price Increases and Safety Advice

Andriy Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, emphasized the importance of following safety protocols during air raid alerts.

The rise in diesel prices can be attributed to multiple factors, including reduced supply due to station damages and broader challenges facing Ukraine’s fuel sector amid ongoing conflict. Nevertheless, the stability of Kyiv’s fuel market suggests that supply chains continue to operate effectively. This resilience plays a crucial role in maintaining economic stability during wartime conditions.
