According to glavcom.ua: The Deputy Head of the Central Election Commission, Sergey Dubovik, believes that the telethon 'Unified News' requires special legislative regulation due to its incompatibility with the electoral process. In particular, he emphasized the importance of ensuring freedom of broadcasting for candidates during elections.

'This is also a question of compliance with standards, as the existence of the 'Unified Marathon' format does not quite correspond to the election campaign and the electoral process,' Dubovik emphasized.

In particular, Dubovik noted that the costs of holding future elections in Ukraine could amount to at least 20 billion UAH. It is also known that 109 million UAH has been allocated for the financing of the telethon 'Unified News #UAtogether', and the State Enterprise 'Multimedia Platform for Foreign Broadcasting of Ukraine' has signed agreements with TV channels to create content for the marathon.

Overall, the situation with the telethon 'Unified News' and the projected costs for upcoming elections in Ukraine indicate the need for regulating legislation regarding the media space and electoral procedures to ensure their legality and democratic nature.
