Uncle Zhora's New Track and Music Video

According to Главком: Ukrainian artist Uncle Zhora has released a new romantic single titled 'Toboyu' ('By You'), accompanied by a music video. The song's premiere was timed for the Valentine's Day season, highlighting its lyrical focus on love and deep emotional connection-themes that resonate universally. This release is part of a broader trend of Ukrainian artists producing heartfelt music during challenging times.

The artist also launched a music video for the track, which was filmed under difficult conditions without consistent heating or electricity, requiring the crew to rely on generators. Both the song and the video are now available on major digital music platforms, giving fans easy access to his latest work.

A Shift Toward Lyrical Themes

Uncle Zhora noted that while his audience is accustomed to his comedic and humorous songs, he has been increasingly exploring more serious, lyrical material.

"Everyone is used to seeing me as the funny guy with humorous songs-and that's still there-but lately I've been moving more toward lyricism because I see that these are the songs that connect with people the most," the artist shared.

He added that 'Toboyu' is another story about life and love that he believes will touch many hearts.

In related Ukrainian music news, singer Alyona Grosu has also released a new track titled 'Voloshky' ('Cornflowers'), and in its music video, she revealed the gender of her unborn child-a boy. These releases underscore the vibrant activity on the Ukrainian music scene, particularly in the lead-up to romantic holidays.

Uncle Zhora's new song reflects a wider trend among Ukrainian artists to experiment with genres and styles in response to audience demand. The romantic theme, amplified by its Valentine's timing, is likely to boost the track's popularity. Simultaneously, releases from artists like Alyona Grosu showcase the creative diversity within Ukrainian music, highlighting its ongoing evolution and resilience in the face of contemporary challenges.
