Danylo Bilyi and His Military Service

According to Главком: Ukrainian comedian and TV host Danylo Bilyi marked one year since formally enlisting in the armed forces. In a recent interview on the project 'Alone with Glamour,' he shared details about his role. Initially, Bilyi focused on charity work to support soldiers and participated in media initiatives. But last year, he officially became a service member, receiving full military status.

Bilyi says his primary duties now involve 'creative work.' He hosts the project 'Dvizh' and is frequently called upon for major assignments requiring innovative solutions.

“I officially enlisted a year ago. Before that, I was just attached to a brigade, helping the Third Assault Brigade with media projects. Then everything was formalized. I’m now a soldier, fully committed. Mostly, I handle creative tasks. I host 'Dvizh,' and when something needs to be conceived, they sometimes bring me in,” Bilyi explained.

A Call to Creative Professionals

In closing, Danylo Bilyi addressed his colleagues in creative fields, urging them to also join the military.

“All people in creative professions! The military needs you because there is a huge amount of work. There’s work in propaganda, recruiting, and countless other tasks. Just come and be useful to the army. That’s it!”

Other well-known figures have also joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine:

  • Andriy Zadvorny, winner of the 'The Bachelor' project and an entrepreneur, has also become a service member.
  • Renowned writer and volunteer Andriy Lyubka was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces and has sworn allegiance to the Ukrainian people.

The involvement of public figures in Ukraine’s military highlights the importance of broad participation across all sectors of society in defending the country. The expertise of those in creative fields is especially valuable in today’s information environment, where innovative thinking and effective communication are critical. Bilyi’s appeal to his peers reflects a broader effort to unite diverse talents toward a shared goal: protecting Ukraine and its people.

As Danylo Bilyi emphasizes the need for creative talents in the military, it's worth reflecting on the journeys of those who have served.
