Davos 2026: The Global and Ukrainian Leaders Taking the Stage
According to Главком: The World Economic Forum in Davos is scheduled for January 19–23, 2026, at the mountain resort of Davos-Klosters. The event will convene representatives from over 130 nations, including Ukraine, with an estimated 3,000 total participants. Among them will be 400 political leaders, including 65 heads of state and 6 leaders from G7 countries, alongside 850 CEOs of global corporations. The Davos forum is a key annual gathering where business and political elites shape the global economic agenda.
The 2026 forum theme is 'The Spirit of Dialogue.' Opening ceremonies are set for January 19 at 7:00 PM Kyiv time. The program for the second day will feature special addresses from several leaders, including:
- The President of Lithuania
- The Prime Minister of Croatia
- The United States Secretary of the Treasury
On January 20 at 10:50 AM, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will deliver a special address, followed by French President Emmanuel Macron at 2:00 PM. The next day, January 21 at 2:30 PM, U.S. President Donald Trump is slated to speak.
Ukrainian representation will include Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, who will participate in a session dedicated to the peace process in Ukraine. Forum discussions will cover geopolitics, the global economy, technological shifts, and investments in human capital. The third day's program includes special addresses from:
- The President of Egypt
- The Prime Minister of Spain
- The United Nations Secretary-General
The fourth day will feature addresses from the President of Israel, the Chancellor of Germany, and the Prime Minister of Greece. The forum will conclude on the fifth day with an address by the Chair of the U.S. Commission on National Defense Strategy.
