DBR begins investigation into the plane crash in Volyn

The State Bureau of Investigations promptly began a pre-trial investigation into the crash of the Mirage-2000 military aircraft, which occurred on the evening of July 22, 2025, at the airfield in the Volyn region. The aviation disaster happened during the execution of a combat flight mission. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the DBR.

The pilot catapulted in time and was promptly located by a search and rescue team. The serviceman's condition is stable, and necessary medical assistance has been provided.
