Some pensioners will receive an additional 870 UAH in December: who will be granted

In December 2025, some Ukrainian pensioners will receive an additional payment to their pension of approximately 870 UAH. This is provided for by the current Law ‘On pensions for special services to Ukraine’, which defines the categories of citizens who may be entitled to this supplement. This is reported by TSN.

Who is entitled to the supplement

The supplement is designated for women who have fulfilled the requirements for raising a large family. This refers to mothers of many children who:

• Gave birth to or adopted five or more children
• Raised them for at least until the age of six.

For such women, not only a monthly supplement is provided, but also the possibility of early retirement-provided that the age and insurance period requirements are met.

How to apply for the payment

To receive the supplement, the applicant must personally contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine. They need to submit a standard package of documents, including a passport, tax identification code, birth certificates of the children, documents about the work record, and an appropriate application.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine emphasizes that the supplement is granted only after confirming all necessary data and submitting the application. Therefore, timely preparation of documents will allow receiving the supplement without delays.
