Ukraine faces a new threat: vast territories may become uninhabited

According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine is facing a serious threat - large territories could be left uninhabited due to the constant threat from Russia. According to Oleksandr Gladuan from the Institute of Demography, this could become a reality both in the north of the country and in the 'sanitary zone' under the future line of demarcation.

The expert identified two main types of territories at risk of becoming uninhabited: areas where 'natural' depopulation is already observed, and dangerous zones near the future line of demarcation. This situation complicates control and defense, and poses a threat to national security.

Mass resettlement in these areas, according to the scientist, is not only dangerous but also unfavorable for any public installations. This is a serious challenge that requires attention and prudent planning for the future.
