The state has paid 53 billion UAH for housing recovery: who received assistance
Oleksii Kuleba reported that the state has already paid over 53 billion UAH for the recovery of damaged housing, providing compensation for obtaining certificates for new housing and rebuilding on their own land. The program is being used by about 150 thousand families, including more than 9 thousand internally displaced families. In particular, assistance has been provided for the recovery of homes in temporarily occupied territories. The first applications for compensation will soon begin to be accepted.
An important direction of work is the Ministry of Development, which focuses on frontline areas: the department is engaged in remote inspections of housing in dangerous territories and improves restoration methods. The podcast also highlighted the importance of comprehensive recovery, the role of communities in the reconstruction process, and the internal and external challenges facing Ukraine today.
