State Assistance of 6500 UAH: Who Can Receive Money by the End of the Year

Announcement about the 'Winter Support' Program

According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has announced the start of accepting applications for one-time financial assistance amounting to 6500 UAH under the 'Winter Support' program. The application acceptance began on November 20, 2023, and will last until December 17, 2023. The total budget for the program in 2025 is 4.3 billion UAH, and it is planned to cover over 660 thousand citizens with payments.

Use of Assistance and Target Audience

The assistance amount of 6500 UAH can be used for the purchase of:

• warm clothing and footwear;
• medications;
• vitamins.

The allocated amount must be used within 180 days from the date of receipt. This program aims to support the most vulnerable segments of the population, including:

• families with children who have low-income status;
• children from internally displaced persons (IDPs) who already receive housing assistance;
• children under guardianship or care.

Children with disabilities living in family-type orphanages (FTO) and foster families, persons with group I disabilities among IDPs, and lonely pensioners receiving a care allowance, provided their pension does not exceed 9444 UAH, can also apply to the program.
